We are pleased to share the successful deployment of two (2) Kacific VSAT systems on Nukumanu Island, delivered through a strong collaboration between IslandTech Solomons, OFFGRID MASTERS, and our Kacific Broadband Satellites Group.

The deployment was executed by Pinoka Teraka, Field Technician, from IslandTech Solomons, working closely with the OFFGRID MASTERS team.

Project coordination and engagement were led by Farhad James and Terence Nirigut, whose leadership and collaboration were instrumental in bringing this initiative together.

Prior to this deployment, clients on Nukumanu Island had limited to no access to internet services, restricting communication, access to information, education, healthcare coordination, and participation in the digital economy.

With the introduction of Kacific satellite connectivity, these communities are now connected to the outside world—opening new pathways for growth, learning, and digital inclusion.

This project demonstrates the power of regional collaboration and highlights how meaningful partnerships can deliver impact beyond Papua New Guinea’s borders into the Solomon Islands. It was a pleasure working with the IslandTech Solomons team and our Kacific partners, whose professionalism, technical expertise, and support were critical to the project’s success.
